Rich Lens

The dream of my life
Is to lie down by a slow river
And stare at the light in the trees-
To learn something by being nothing
A little while
but the rich
Lens of attention

I love poetry. One thing the rez school taught me was to feel and think about words. Say it out loud. Use your words. Thank you Red Rock Day School. I think this poem says we all have expensive lens within ourselves. Whether it be your eyes, your ears or your touch. It's about being all there. That should be our life goal. We just have to find it and pay attention. How do you interpret this poem?

Poetically yours, Jennifer
